Marine Aquaculture Floating buoys are generally made of materials such as polyethylene, polyester, polystyrene, polyurethane, and ABS.
1. High-density polyethylene (HDPE): d=0.92~0.96g/cm3, tensile yield 27MPa, elongation at break 600%. It has good toughness and strength. Temperature range: -70~+70 degrees Celsius. Good weather resistance, low density. Long lifespan. Recyclable.
2. Polyester: High strength, impact resistant, but often easily damaged by impact.
3. Polyurethane and polystyrene foam: Rarely used due to cost and subsequent environmental pollution.
